Additional Information You Should Know:

To verify a purchase, reply YES. You will then receive a reply stating that your card is safe to use as you normally would. If you did not make the purchase in question, reply NO to stop the fraud. If no response is received from the initial text message, a second text will be sent, followed by a phone call to the phone number we have on file.

Once you reply, NO, a DCU Fraud Specialist will call to confirm that the transaction is unauthorized and block your card from further use.

Once your card is blocked, you’ll need to contact us at 800.328.8797, so that we can assist you with the process of disputing the fraudulent charge(s) and obtaining a new card. Should you wish to no longer receive DCU Fraud Text Alerts, simply reply STOP at any time.

DCU Visa Fraud Text Alerts will come from short code 32874 and are only sent between the hours of 8am and 9pm in your local time zone.

Please note that if you reply NO to confirm that a charge was not authorized, that charge may still post. If the transaction was approved, there is no way for DCU to stop the charge from posting. You will need to wait until the charge posts to your account and then file a Transaction Dispute via Online Banking, at a branch or contacting us at 800.328.8797.
